Q: What kind of conference does the UGSVA (Undergraduate and Graduate Students’ Victorian Association) host?

A: The UGSVA (Undergraduate and Graduate Students’ Victorian Association) is run by and intended for students. Each year, usually in April or May, we run an online conference that is free for students to attend and share their work.

Q: What kinds of students are allowed to participate?

A: Students in all stages of their study, are welcome to share their work. However, our core focus is to spotlight the insightful work being done by undergraduates in our field and provide them with opportunity to engage in academia! Further, we welcome participants from all over the world!

Q: What is the date and time for the 2026 conference?

A: April 28th from 9am to 5pm est.

Q: When was the Victorian Era?

A: Great question! The Victorian era roughly coincides with Queen Victoria’s 63 year reign which began in 1837 and ended in 1901.
